Position/Title of Intern:
Design/ Multimedia Intern

Dimension X Corporation is looking for self motivated interns for the upcoming semester in and around the Greensburg area. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in multimedia and design (web and/or layout) for a competitive Marketing and Advertising Firm.

Internship Description:
Intern will be responsible for aiding the production team on the development of concepts/content, assisting in the creation of screen templates for clients, searching, sizing, and verification of all graphics/images, as well as editing and cross-checking web graphics and content. The intern will be required to assist in programming code if needed.

Student Learning Objectives:
Student will learn first hand, the development and production of design- Web and Graphic. Also, the student will create different concepts/web graphics for several companies while working directly with the Dimension X production team on all daily projects.

Skills Needed/Suggested Academic Majors:
Students must be proficient on all graphic design and multimedia aspects. Must show ability to grasp/learn multimedia program’s such as: InDesign, Illustrator, Go Live, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Experience in Flash programming/3D animation and photography is a plus. The intern must be able to work in a fast paced environment, independently and within a team, be ambitious, show a strong work ethic, be organized and detail oriented. Suggested majors include, but are not limited to: Information Technology, Graphic Design, and/or Computer Science.
